Didymoteicho is the Honoured Municipality
The tourism map of 2025, the most attractive and up-and-coming domestic destinations, the development of relations with the most important markets for Greek tourism, as well as the latest trends in accommodation equipment, will be included in the wealth of content of the 39th PHILOXENIA HOTELIA International Tourism and Hotel Equipment Exhibition.
PHILOXENIA HOTELIA will be held from 14-16 November 2024 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre.
On the occasion of today’s World Tourism Day, the central message of which is ‘Tourism and Peace’, this year’s PHILOXENIA HOTELIA is dedicated to cultural tourism, which is an educational lever that makes the peaceful coexistence of peoples more feasible.
The Organisation for Management and Development of Cultural Resources (ODAP) of the Ministry of Culture is participating in PHILOXENIA HOTELIA for the first time and will play a central role through the realisation of a series of events and actions.
Didymoteicho will be the Honoured Municipality at PHILOXENIA HOTELIA, a municipality that creates a high-quality tourism blend with its indelible multicultural character, that is appealing to all travellers.
PHILOXENIA HOTELIA 2024 will also present increased international participations, including, for the first time, countries of the Indian Ocean.
Another piece in the cultural mosaic of PHILOXENIA HOTELIA this year, will be the photography competition and exhibition on the subject of ‘Philoxenia & Culture’ by the Greek Instagrammers Events Social Media & Culture Community.
Lastly, this year’s event will see the continued successful partnership between TIF HELEXPO and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki, which is subsidising its member-enterprises that wish to participate in HOTELIA.
Among the exhibitors and supporters of PHILOXENIA HOTELIA is the Ministry of Tourism, the Greek Tourism Organisation (under the auspices of which the two exhibitions are being organised), the Ministry of Culture, SETE (Greek Tourism Confederation), XEE (Hellenic Chamber of Hotels), POX (Hellenic Hoteliers Federation) FEDHATTA (Federation of Hellenic Associations of Tourist & Travel Agencies), travel agencies from all Regions of Greece, as well as construction, technology, furniture, manufacturing, equipment, and renovation companies.
